Where do I find the curve tool? INSERT...Shapes...LINES...Curve
How do I turn my drawing into an image? When you are done with all your layers, CTRL-A (select all)...CTRL-G (group)...Right click/Save as Picture. NOTE: If you have more than one picture on the screen, you do NOT want to use CTRL-A...instead, try these options: OPTION A: Click the first item of your group. Hold down the CTRL (control) key. Click all the other layers until they are all selected. CTRL-G. Right click save as picture. OPTION B: Click and drag over the layers of the pictures you wish to group. (if all didn't select, use CTRL/click to get any missing layers. CTRL-G. Right click/save as picture. Name your picture something that will make it easy to find later. (make sure you remember where you placed it, too). What picture format should I save it as? It defaults to a .png format (that has a transparent background)...this one works great for Pivot projects. Other formats could be .jpg (same picture image you use to take a photo) or .gif which is basically a drawing image option (also works for Pivot). I like my drawing, but I want to make some changes on it. How do I do that without redrawing the whole thing? 1: Sometimes CTRL-Z (undo) helps 2: Click the layer you want to change. Right click/Edit Points. Use the points on the shape to change the image to look more like you would like. I like to draw, but it is easier to draw on a piece of paper. Can I take my drawing and put it in PowerPoint? YES, you can. You can try drawing it from your picture-that's one option. The other option is this. Take a photo of your picture (or scan it). Insert it as a picture in PowerPoint and trace it. Then you can fill it in with different colors and ideas. Be patient, though, there is a learning "CURVE" to this, but it gets easier the more you work with it. You will like the results. |
